BECCA ATKINSON
hi hello. i'm becca atkinson.

I like doing customer journeys almost as much as I like running and pizza.
I'm a UX Designer with a background in Project Management. After 3 years in the PM world, I knew that I wanted something more.
I was eager to do something that had me problem solving, thinking both creatively and strategically, and doing a bit more critical thinking. As a PM, I was always struck by how UX designers worked, and how they got to straddle the line between creative and strategy.

I ended up taking the 10 week part time UX/UI course at General Assembly in summer 2018. It confirmed what I believed to be true: that user experience could be a great career change for me and would give me much of what I was seeking and missing in the PM role. After the course, I was in a hybrid UX/PM role, and fully transitioned to UX in January 2019.

Since joining the UX world, I've worked on a variety of clients spanning across multiple industries. From automotive and financial services to energy providers and technology companies, from B2B to direct to consumer, I've been a part of creating data-driven solutions to complex user and business problems.
